Dancing the Worlds was founded around 2005 by Mary O'Sullivan. It was one of those things that came about because the time was ripe for it to happen, in other words it happened naturally and spontaneously. I had already spent many years training in various disciplines and practices. I have a common interest in Buddhism and methods of healing.
For over 12 years now I have ran a professional Healing practice in Cork City. I have also recently focused a lot of time and energy studying and working with Shamans in the Peruvian Amazon and in the Andes. I also study and work with the ancient Tibetan practices of Bon.
Because of the interest and requests I have received, I started, under the name of Dancing the Worlds, to give a series of Workshops and it continues to grow from there.
I have put together an itinerary to take a group on a Spiritual Journey to Peru in 2008 to live and study with indigenous Shamans as a follow up to my recent experiences there.
Why the name Dancing the Worlds? One definition of a Shaman is a 'walker between the worlds'. Walk? Why not dance!
