Arrive Iquitos September 7th 2012...
You will arrive prepared to embark on a 6 day jungle medicine retreat. You will have prepared by eliminating over a period of time before arriving, all stimulants from your diet i.e. salt, sugar. alcohol, meat, sex, wheat if necessary. This preparation can be for as long as 3 months or as short as a week. The longer your period of time of preparation the more ready you will be to recieve the wisdom of the plant medicines.
Our retreat will be held at Soga Del Alma retreat centre 20 minutes by boat along the Rio Itaya near Iquitos. You will participate in 3 ceremonies while at the centre and may sleep overnight in the Maloca. On the nights when there is no ceremony you may stay at the centre or choose to stay at a hostal in Iquitos returning the next day for your next ceremony. After our jungle experience we will take time to explore iquitos and surrounding area ie Belen, Butterfly Farm, Nauta to name a few. We can then end our time together or continue on to Pisac, near Cuzco to continue our healing journey in the Sacred valley of the incas, visit many sacred sites, participate in yogas and meditations together and work closely with Shaman/healer javier reguero at Paz y Luz healing centre Pisac again with the plant medicines of Ayahausca and San pedro. At all times your safety and comfort is assured although you will be challanged to break through any blocks which may arise during our time together. At Paz y Luz massage and personal healing sessions will be available at an added cost to help to integrate your experiences.
September 7th 2012; Arrival In Iquitos
September 8th tour around Iquitos, climatize and intro to following days ceremonies at Soga del Alma.
Journey together to Soga del Alma retreat centre.
9th to 14th will encompass 3 medicine ceremonies, floral baths, vapour herb steam baths, clay baths, offsite hydrotherapy/herb hot baths and sessions with the bone setter Maria Louise should you wish.
September 15th and 16th we will rest and explore iquitos and surrounding areas.
Cost for this 10 day journey is 1000 Euro which includes your accommodation but not your meals.
I will arrange any accommodation necessary in Iquitos and tours of the area, all included in the cost other than any longer journeys which you may wish to explore on your arrival before and after the ceremonies. I like to allow for the unknown somewhat as when you arrive in this frontier town in the middle of the jungle all manner of oppurtunities may arise. Allowing for flexibility is essential in the healing journey.
September 20th; Arrive Cuzco and follow on to Paz y Luz healing centre Pisac

While in Pisac we will base ourselves at Paz y Luz healing centre and from our base we will travel daily to sacred sites, work with Qero Shamas, receive Munay Ki initiations. We will also participate in plant medicine ceremonies with Shaman/Healer Javier Regueiro whom I have had the privilage to work with over the past 5 years, both on my own healing journey and with the groups that have travelled with me to Peru.
Day 1. Arrive Cuzco and continue to Paz y Luz Healing Centre Day 2. Visit Pisac ruins and village Day 3. 1st Ayahausca ceremony. Receive 1st Munay-Ki Initiation Day 4. Review of previous evenings experience. 2nd Munay-Ki Initiation. Day 5. Visit Tipons ancient site, near Cuzco and experience a san Pedro ceremony. Day 6. Visit Olly and receive the 3rd Munay-Ki Initiation. Day 7. Despach Ceremony with Qero shaman. Receive 4th Munay-Ki Initiation Day 8. Munay-Ki Initiations 5, 6 and 7. Day 9. Travel to Macchu Picchu Day 10. Munay-Ki 9 at Macchu Picchu plus guided tour of the site by a local shaman. Day 11. Return to Pisac... Day 12. Visit the City of Cuzco Cost for this part of the journey is: €1600 Euro The cost here includes your accommodation and breakfast at Paz y Luz Healing Centre. All other meals are at your own expense. I am arranging transport and guides, ceremonies and tour of Macchu Picchu. Bus and entrance to macchu Picchu is included as is the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, the host town for Macchu Picchu where we will stay for 2 nights.
You may wish to come on both adventures or one. Visit the jungle or the mountains, whichever draws you! I am happy to facilitate this journey for your healing and personal development.
I strive to keep the cost as low as possible so this adventure is accessible to all.You are responsible for your flight to and from Peru,any interconnecting flights, vaccinations and travel insurance. Any laundry during your stay is also your own responsibility and meals where indicated. I can happily guide you with necessary info on these details..
